Platformed Accessibility

This project focuses on the improvement of social media accessibility through content creation and platform updates. It seeks to embed accessibility practices within social media creation while also looking into how the platforms themselves are or are not accessible.

Climate Resilience Workshop Series

In our current moment, where the climate is actively declining, we believe that knowledge of basic survival skills and modern climate resilience technologies are not only valuable, but intertwined. We are interested in the topic of climate resilience in multiple capacities, including emerging technology, promoting environmental education, and learning how to better equip those living with the threat of natural disasters. We will be hosting a weekly workshop series spanning the month of May 2023 to delve more into these topics and provide training resources for local community leaders.

Honor

It can take as long as 60 days for speakers to receive payment for their work and as many as 17 people involved in these payments. The process can be extremely convoluted resulting in speakers not receiving enough funds in a timely manner. Through Honor, we aim to promote more equitable compensation practices within higher education. Honor is an app that is approachable and easy for guest speakers to use to keep track of their expenses.

Ethical Internet?
